In our second tutorial with the HALO™ system, the halo is applied around the lead. The result is somewhat counter-intuitive - the follower is led to trace a circular path about the lead. The figure is also known as a “lasso” because the lead's arm movement resembles the twirling action used in throwing a lasso.

Again this turn can be considered as a simple building block, which in conjunction with other elements, gives rise to a turn combination. The first variation is a clockwise turn with follower's right hand in lead's left (the picture arms of the close hold).
